Story
We had an opportunity to accomplish a unique 3D animated spot for Sygic company, one of the world leaders in navigational systems.
Our task was to create a custom car interior design, what will represent the philosophy and future of Sygic company.
During numerous discussions and consultations, we decided to create a sports car with minimalistic but futuristic design, that gives us a potential to develop it more in future.
With this attitude, we created couple exterior design sketches, to test and reasure design styling we want to use and how we want our concept to look like.
However, interior is the place, where all visual and navigational magic happens, so we spent more time on design development of interior itself.
We were experimenting with various designs. Creation of proper scale displays and it's edges, creation of basic interior ergonomy with proper scale of each essential interior part (dashboard, seats, steering-wheel, displays, etc.).
The output requirement was to create a 3D animation with mostly interior shots and focus on Sygic navigational systems. The most important was a correct presentation of these systems implemented into car dashboard and built-in displays, while maintaining focus on a car design itself. Everything was adjusted, cleaned and detailed, to fit well into close-up camera shots.
